PRICE:
The price per person is based on double room occupancy
at a 3-star hotel (steps from the school). The price will include
hotel (double occupancy. there is a single occupancy price as
well), transportation to/from airport, field trips, course fees,
scooner trip in the bay, Salvador T-shirt, tour information package,
transportation for some of the long distance field trips, and
a "welcome" light lunch party on the arrival of group. One meal
a day, breakfast, is included.

Our course of Brazilian percussion is divided into
three parts:

- AFRO-BRAZILIAN PERCUSSION
- DRUM SET
This is an

METHODOLOGY:
Repiques and tarols (snare drums)
will assigned to students who can better use the drum sticks.
Others who have more experience with congas could develop their
technique on the timbaus, for instance. Tamborims, xequeres and
claves
would be taught first to beginners.

METHODOLOGY
Rhythms will be written on the blackboard and sheets
with rhythmic notations will given to the students . The students
will learn how to
play the rhythm on each part of the drum set separately, and then,
using the whole set.
